Delete your account

You can delete your Ringlate account at any time, from the app, without asking us.

In the app

  1. 1Open Settings.
  2. 2Choose Privacy and Security.
  3. 3Choose Delete account and confirm.

What happens next

  • Your profile, your messages, your media and your memberships are removed from our active systems.
  • Your sessions on every device are ended.
  • Copies in encrypted backups are purged on the backup rotation schedule, at most 30 days later.
  • Diagnostics already sent to Firebase are retained by Google for its standard period (crash data 90 days) and are not linked to your account.

Cannot open the app?

Write to us from the e-mail address of the account, or from another address with details that let us verify you are the owner, and ask for deletion. We delete the account and confirm by e-mail.

Delete less than everything

  • Delete single messages for yourself or for everyone, from the message menu.
  • Leave groups and channels from their profile.
  • Remove your profile photo, bio and other optional fields from Settings.
  • End other sessions from Settings → Devices.
